May 18, 2020 – Young & Ma LLP, together with its co-counsel Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe LLP, filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, on behalf of a Senior Account Executive at Indeed, Inc., alleging that her supervisor declined to take action when she reported being raped by an Indeed manager during a company orientation program for new hires. The lawsuit alleges that the online job placement company then discriminated and retaliated against her by denying her promotions and advancement opportunities, refusing to grant her reasonable accommodations for medical conditions caused or exacerbated by the rape, and eventually trying to coerce her to resign through threats from Human Resources.  A link to the press reports on the case can be found here.
