Chinese Female Product Manager Gets Severance

We represented an employee (“Client”) against a New York financial services company (“Company”).

Client was a Chinese female who, at the request of a previous supervisor, had left her last place of employment to join Company as a product manager. She was transferred to a new department and during the course of four years, she was forced to take on a new and different role.

When Client finally approached Company about wanting to perform more of her original product management role, she received retaliatory reviews and warnings, and shortly thereafter was terminated for cause.

After Client retained us, she received severance, vacation pay, a neutral letter of reference, and mutual non-disparagement. Company also agreed to not contest Client’s claims for unemployment insurance benefits.

We tailor and create unique business and legal strategies to obtain our clients’ objectives and goals. To request a private consultation, please fill out this form, email, or call 646-379-7703.
